Corton
There is a time when I go to a new restaurant to discover the food and wine and I often leave the place feeling disappointed. Corton on the other hand, provided one of the best experience in a long time...I love Daniel - I always did and I will always do...however Corton stood to my high expectations and left me wanting it more...with every mouthful there is a new flavour to discover...or a great combinations of flavours...the restaurant must be one of the biggest successes in New York restaurant scene...especially in this economy where everyone tries to cut on something, Corton provides you with the ultimate experience worth the cut on the other end.
There are three of my favourites on the menu and the meal would not be completed without them:.
1. Smoked pasta with fresh truffles
2. Roasted Vegetables that you never tasted before...and you don't have to be vegetarian to love it...it is the most creative, the most delicious plate of veggies you can imagine, and it is hard to believe or imagine without trying it
3. John Dory with scallop - simple but exceptional preparation.
Corton is a comfortable place to dine with your next business partner or your next date. It has outstanding food, wine and service. You must not miss to experience it.
